Knotwork is an art style with prevalence across the European continent, most notably amongst the Celtic tribes, but very common still amongst the Nordic and Slavic folk. The interlaced knot designs were a common cultural expression found on clothing, in stone-work and upon all manner of artifacts.
And then there's Don't Tread On Me, the iconic words taken from the Gadsden flag used by the American Founding Fathers...
These men, being of Anglo-Saxon and Celtic extraction, flew these words displaying the spirit of being indomitable and not tread upon by tyrants. For them, it was freedom or death. For those who are Hammer Bound, it is freedom or death!
